Setup Steps

Open the paper compartment

Press the cover open button to release the paper compartment cover. Lift the cover fully upward.

Load the linerless roll

Place the roll in the holder with the print side facing outward. The paper should feed from underneath the roll.

Tip: The Bixolon SRP-S300 uses a drop-in loading system—simply drop the roll into place.

Align the paper

Pull the paper forward over the tear bar. Ensure it's aligned with the paper guides on both sides.

Close the cover

Press down firmly on the paper cover until you hear it click into place.

Configure paper type

Use Bixolon's Unified Utility or the printer's button sequence to select linerless paper mode and set the correct paper width.

Set cutting mode

Choose between full cut, partial cut, or no cut depending on your label application requirements.

Test and calibrate

Print a configuration page by holding the feed button during power-on. Verify settings are correct.

Solution: Adjust the paper guides to sit snugly against the roll edges without pinching. Check for debris in the paper path.

Solution: Check cutter mode settings. Clean the cutter blade if cuts are incomplete. Verify firmware is up to date.

What interface options does the SRP-S300 support?

The SRP-S300 is available with USB, Ethernet, Serial, and Bluetooth interfaces. Check your model specification.

Can I print receipts and labels on the same printer?

Yes, but you'll need to change paper types. The SRP-S300 can switch between linerless and standard thermal modes via software configuration.
